The Lead Research Agent looks first at public job boards for businesses hiring for the work you take off their hands — a company advertising that role has the job, has budgeted for it, and has not automated it — and puts a link to that posting on the lead, both in your list and on the lead's own page. It then reads each company's own job board: a business advertising even one software role of its own builds this in house, so it is dropped before it ever reaches your list — while a manufacturer hiring a mechanical engineer is exactly who you want. That test is deliberately strict, so it will occasionally drop a business whose only developer keeps a website alive. It also turns your ideal-customer description into a size, industry and location filter, shows you that filter in plain language on your dashboard, and after every run tells you in sentences how many companies it dropped and why — so "nothing found" tells you whether they were not your customer or whether we could not confirm they were real businesses. Leads carry firmographics (size, revenue, industry, HQ) when available, and an empty cell rather than a guess when not. Most also carry a named contact and a signal from the past year linked to its source; when neither can be confirmed the lead says nothing rather than making one up, and you still get the verified company. Each email is labelled by where it came from: Sourced means it was found on a real page; Pattern guess means it was built from the company's address format and is a guess.
